My dream has always been to be able to manufacture equipment that I will need as a Maintenance Technician here in The Gambia. 3D printing technology is one of the ways to achieve that and gives you almost endless opportunities to materialize your ideas and customize your products

My vision is to explore how 3D printing can enhance local businesses in The Gambia and ways of manufacturing in off-grid communities globally.

Amie Badjie

3D Printers Operator

Amie Badjie is currently studying her bachelor's degree in information systems at the University of The Gambia.

As an IT student, I'm always eager to learn new technologies and ways to use these technologies to help make life easier for families and the society at large. And I believe with 3D printing technology, most goods can be designed and manufactured for home uses as well as businesses at a reasonable cost to reduce the environmental impacts of transportation.
